Beverly Hills Bar Association hosts installation and awards Dinner

The Beverly Hills Bar Association welcomed its 81st president, John K. Rubiner, in an annual installation and awards dinner Sept. 27. Rubiner, a litigator at the Century City firm Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks & Lincenberg APC, was sworn in by U.S. District Court Judge Howard Matz. In a keynote speech, PBS talk show host Tavis Smiley expressed his thanks and admiration for Rubiner, who has represented him in court. The association also presented outstanding service awards to five members.
