Brobeck Lawyer Leaves to Take Corporate Post

SAN FRANCISCO - Thomas A. Bevilacqua, a partner on Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison's executive committee and co-chair of the information technology group, is leaving the firm to join E*Trade Group as executive vice president of corporate development and general counsel. E*Trade is a Palo Alto-based provider of online investing services that posted revenues of $88.1 million for its first fiscal quarter ending Dec. 31, 1998.
