Justices Spurn BofA Appeal on Arbitration

SAN FRANCISCO - In a sharp disappointment for the banking industry, the California Supreme Court refused Wednesday to decide whether banks can force their customers to give up their right to a jury trial and submit to binding arbitration of any disputes with their banks.
