Drug Agent's Arrest Could Jeopardize Cases

Case could taint pending and disposed cases, some lawyers say.

LOS ANGELES - A veteran state Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement officer was arrested on accusations he stole $33,000 during an undercover sting operation.


Gabriel N. Baltodano, 35, pleaded not guilty Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court to two counts of grand theft, two counts of embezzlement and one count of filing a false police report, all felonies.
