Young SD Lawyer Recognized on International Stage

Natalie Prescott, a litigation associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins was, received the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award from the Young Lawyers’ Committee of the International Bar Association with the at its annual conference in Vancouver last month. The IBA highlighted her extensive pro bono work, professional ethics and responsibility, and commitment to the rule of law for more than 4,000 attendees. Prescott is a 2006 graduate of Duke University School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law. She joined Latham & Watkins in 2008 following a clerkship with U.S District Judge Roger T. Benitez of the Southern District of California. At Latham, she specializes in appellate, insurance and product liability litigation. Prescott is both the first woman and first U.S. citizen to win the award.
