Mauling Building's Landlord Cheated Tenants, DA Says
SAN FRANCISCO - The owner of the Pacific Heights apartment building where giant dogs mauled Diane Whipple to death nearly three years ago will pay nearly $200,000 to settle allegations that he cheated tenants out of security deposits and other cash, District Attorney Terence Hallinan announced Tuesday.
