Council Eases 'Fast Track' Rules For Civil Litigation
SAN FRANCISCO - Trial lawyers won a significant relaxation of California's stringent "fast track" rules for handling civil litigation Tuesday as the state Judicial Council agreed to ease the deadlines for resolving cases and allow greater flexibility for continuances.
