Retired Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Charles E. Frisco died of complications from Alzheimer's disease Oct. 15. He was 92 years old.
Hailed by colleagues as a skilled raconteur and toastmaster, Frisco's rapier wit was legend among those who witnessed his gentle "roasts" of new judges delivered at enrobing ceremonies as chair of the court's Historical Committee.
