9th Circuit reverses course, grants defense win to Amazon.com

After seemingly breathing new life into the "initial interest confusion" doctrine, a divided 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals panel reversed course Wednesday, sending the doctrine back to its familiar place at death's door.
