Bill aims to further regulate juvenile strip searches

Assembly Bill 303 requires anyone within eyesight of a minor being searched be the same sex as the minor. The bill, written by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzales, follows years of muffled complaints from young detainees in San Diego.
