LA judge finds man innocent, eligible for state compensation

Reggie Cole, wrongfully convicted in 1994 in the shooting death of Felipe Angeles, was found factually innocent in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday.

A man wrongfully convicted of murder was found factually innocent by a Los Angeles
County judge on Tuesday, making him eligible for compensation from the state.


In 1994, Reggie Cole was convicted in the shooting death of Felipe Angeles. His conviction
was thrown out in 2010 based on ineffective assistance of counsel.
