Daily Journal Staff Win L.A. Press Club Awards

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Press Club has honored several of the Los Angeles Daily Journal's reporters and editors with top awards. At its 43rd Annual Southern California Awards dinner Saturday, the press club named staff writer Cheryl Romo print journalist of the year for publications under 100,000 circulation for her reporting on children and family law, especially noting her piece on the confinement of girls in a women's prison.
