A salute to women who soar
The Southern California chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and Hogan Lovells hosted its 9th annual “ACColades: A salute to women who inspire us” event on Aug. 2 at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica. This year’s event was attended by more than 120 guests and honored Carrie Broadus, executive director of Women Alive, a national, treatment-focused organization by and for women living with HIV/AIDS, and Synthia SAINT JAMES, a world renowned multicultural artist most celebrated for designing the first Kwanzaa Stamp for the United States Postal Service in 1997.
