Former federal prosecutor joins Ballard in San Diego

John J. Rice, a former federal prosecutor who nearly became a U.S. Attorney, joins the San Diego offices of Ballard.

John J. Rice, a former federal prosecutor who was once shortlisted for a position as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District, joined the San Diego office of Ballard Spahr LLP Monday, boosting that firm's white collar and securities practices.


Rice will serve as of counsel in Ballard Spahr's litigation department. He joins the firm from Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP in San Diego.
