Arson sparks law firm's suit

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP has sued a developer over a December 2014 arson, which sent window-shattering heat waves and ash into the law offices and forced a relocation.

Three months after the City of Los Angeles sued a developer for a man-made construction fire that caused nearly $100 million worth of damage to an adjacent government building, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP has followed suit with claims its business was interrupted by the December, 2014 arson, which sent window-shattering heat waves and ash into the law offices and forced a relocation.
