Another State Bar employee alleges firing was whistleblower retaliation

A former chief assistant general counsel has filed a formal government claim against the agency alleging that his termination was retaliation for whistleblowing.

Another longtime State Bar employee has filed a formal government claim against the agency alleging that his termination was retaliation for whistleblowing.

Richard Zanassi, who most recently served as chief assistant general counsel, claims he was wrongfully terminated in February after 33 years at the bar.
