Pipeline company indicted over Santa Barbara oil spill
Attorney General Kamala Harris on Tuesday announced the indictment of Plains All American Pipeline LP, an energy company that discharged oil into the Pacific Ocean last year from Refugio State Beach, 20 miles west of Santa Barbara.

Attorney General Kamala Harris on Tuesday announced the indictment of Plains All American Pipeline LP, an energy company that discharged oil into the Pacific Ocean last year from Refugio State Beach, 20 miles west of Santa Barbara.
The Texas-based company will face 46 criminal counts, including four felonies, and one of its employees was charged with three additional counts.
