OC sheriff's deputy won't testify but judge will review his notes and flash drive

SANTA ANA - An Orange County sheriff's deputy whose notes are at the center of the latest controversy in the ongoing jailhouse informant scandal will not be called to testify under a ruling Superior Court Judge John D. Conley issued without prejudice Thursday.
