Associate Justice James A. McIntyre, who sat on the 4th District Court of Appeal in San Diego for 20 years, will retire June 30, the court announced Thursday.
McIntyrehad three decades of civil trial experience and three years as a San Diego County Superior Court judge before his appointment to the appellate court by Gov. Pete Wilson in 1996.
