The State Bar says it is making a concerted effort to review and investigate all the complaints it receives alleging the unauthorized practice of law by non-attorneys after failing to do so in recent years.
The bar has also developed a proposed policy directive for handling the claims, and a board committee is scheduled to review it on Thursday.
