The State Bar's backlog of complaints filed against attorneys declined by nearly 25 percent in 2015 compared to the year prior, according to the agency's annual discipline report.
The backlog of complaints to Chief Trial Counsel Jayne Kim's office seeking discipline of attorneys was 1,500 last year, a drop from 1,988 in 2014, according to the report released Friday.
