Judge Takes Controversial Case Into His Own Hands

LOS ANGELES - After failing four times to place the case in other courtrooms, Van Nuys Supervising Judge Paul Gutman announced Tuesday that he will determine whether Gov. Gray Davis wrongly denied parole for convicted murderer Robert Rosenkrantz.
