Senate Panel Investigating Price-Fixing in Energy Market
SACRAMENTO - A panel of state senators was named Wednesday to investigate charges of price-fixing and collusion by power wholesalers and the committee's chairman, a former tobacco litigator, said the effort to hold electricity giants accountable is looking a lot like the fight against Big Tobacco.
