Santa Clara's New Focus Inc. has bought Camarillo's JCA Technology Inc. The stock and cash deal is worth $363 million. New Focus, founded in 1990, takes advantage of telecom providers' concentration on fiber-optic networks. The company makes fiber optic products that boosts the capacity and speed of networks, plus laser modules and tools used in the manufacture and testing of fiber-optic gear and networks.
