Another pair of U.S. firms announced their intentions to "super-size" things in an East-Midwest merger. Chicago's Sidley & Austin and Brown & Wood of New York agreed to pursue the merger in mid-February. The firms' chairs say they expect to wrap up the deal by May 1.
