Advocates want 'Don't Ask' ruling to stand
Despite an expected government repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" today, lawyers for gay rights advocates are fighting to keep alive a federal court ruling deeming the statute unconstitutional.

Though service personnel ousted under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell' are expected to rush to file paperwork to re-enlist in the wake of the Obama administration's expected repeal of the law today, lawyers for gay rights advocates say it's critical that an appellate court keep in place a federal judge's ruling deeming the statute unconstitutional.
