New presiding judge for San Diego court

Judge Robert J. Trentacosta will become the presiding judge of the San Diego Superior Court on Jan. 1.

SAN DIEGO - Judge Robert J. Trentacosta will become the presiding judge of the San Diego Superior Court on Jan. 1.

Trentacosta, who has served as the assistant presiding judge since 2010, will succeed Judge Kevin A. Enright. He will supervise and manage the second largest trial court in the state, overseeing 154 judicial officers, more than 1,400 employees and a court budget of more than $188 million.
