Judge turns up the heat on Google and Oracle to settle

A federal judge on Thursday ratcheted up the pressure on Google Inc. and Oracle Corp. to settle a lawsuit over alleged patent and copyright infringement of Oracle's Java computer programming language, ordering a mediation session and pressing both companies' leaders to be there.
