Lawyer convicted of extortion

San Fernando Valley lawyer Alfred Nash Villalobos was convicted this week of federal extortion and obstruction of justice charges.

San Fernando Valley lawyer Alfred Nash Villalobos was convicted this week of federal extortion and obstruction of justice charges for accepting $50,000 to thwart a federal grand jury investigation by coaching a client to give false testimony.
