Irvine-based Allergan Inc. won a patent battle in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday when Judge T. John Ward decided that four generic drugmakers' U.S. Food and Drug Administration applications to make and sell generic versions of Combigan infringed four of Allergan's patents for the glaucoma and ocular hypertension drug.
