Gov. Jerry Brown won't have to reveal the names of lawyers and judges across the state who are helping him vet judicial candidates.
Legislation that would have forced Brown to make public the names of Judicial Selection Advisory Committee members is being rewritten to remove that provision, said a legislative aide to the bill's sponsor, Assemblyman Mike Davis, D-Los Angeles.
