Ware wants to film Prop. 8 hearing

Northern District Chief Judge James S. Ware wants to videotape Monday's hearing on whether to publicly release recordings from last year's Proposition 8 trial.

Northern District Chief Judge James S. Ware wants to videotape Monday's hearing on whether to publicly release recordings from last year's Proposition 8 trial.

Ware has asked for the parties' feedback on whether the hearing should be part of a newly launched pilot project to allow cameras in the courtroom. The hearing would not be broadcast live, but would be made available online later.
