Health care fraud prosecutions on the rise

New data shows that the first eight months of 2011 have produced 903 heath care fraud prosecutions by the U.S. Department of Justice, which far exceed the 731 prosecutions recorded for all of 2010.

New data showing that the first eight months of fiscal 2011 have produced 903 heath care fraud prosecutions by the U.S. Department of Justice - compared to 731 prosecutions recorded for all of 2010 - doesn't come as a surprise to defense attorneys.
