Judicial Council aims for greater transparency in meetings

The Judicial Council, the policy-making body for the state's courts, has put new procedures in place aimed at making its meetings more accessible to the public.

The Judicial Council, the policy-making body for the state's courts, has put new procedures in place aimed at making its meetings more accessible to the public.

Beginning Aug. 26, the council will open up the public comment period at its meetings to allow comments on any matters related to judicial administration, according to Court of Appeal Justice Douglas Miller, who chairs the council's Executive and Planning Committee....
