State's chief justice to set up group to explore solutions to budget cuts

Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye announced Friday that she will set up a group to explore ways to mitigate cuts to trial courts' services.


Her announcement came the same day officials with the San Francisco County Superior Court said they won't have to follow through on 25 of 200 planned layoffs.
