Toyota wants acceleration suit moved to Utah

As Toyota Motor Corp. awaits several court trials on claims its vehicles are prone to sudden acceleration, the company's lawyers are pumping the brakes on the first case going forward in federal court.

As Toyota Motor Corp. awaits several court trials over claims its vehicles are prone to sudden acceleration, the company's lawyers are pumping the brakes on the first case going forward in federal court.


Toyota's lawyers have asked a Santa Ana federal judge to transfer that case, scheduled for trial in the Central District in February 2013, to state court in Utah, where the accident occurred....
