Yolo to hold all-mail elections

After twice being rejected by former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Yolo County finally got permission this week to conduct all-mail ballot elections.


Assembly Bill 413, signed Monday by Gov. Jerry Brown, authorizes Yolo County to embark on a six-year pilot program, during which it can hold a total of three all-mail elections, measuring the program's cost and its impact on voter demographics and turnout...
