Solar power companies reach settlement

Two major solar power companies announced Tuesday they had reached a settlement with environmental groups over plans to build solar farms in San Luis Obispo County.

Two major solar power companies announced Tuesday they had reached a settlement with environmental groups over plans to build solar farms in San Luis Obispo County.


The agreement, negotiated with the help of Gov. Jerry Brown's office, headed off potential litigation after conservationists raised concerns over the projects' impacts on wildlife.
