A former Bakersfield law firm receptionist will get a second chance to prove to a jury that her boss discriminated against her.

The 5th District Court of Appeal on Tuesday reversed a jury's defense verdict in favor of attorney Thomas J. Anton, saying the judge who presided over the trial improperly excluded key evidence.
