Devoted Detroit Tigers Fan Plays Within the Lines

STOCKTON - San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge George J. Abdallah can be at his busiest when nothing's going on in his courtroom. Like on a recent day when, to Abdallah's surprise, all the court's reporters and clerks walked off their jobs in sympathy with contract demands made by county employees. The court system in Stockton ground to a halt.
