Judge Feared Being Outed, DA Says

SANTA BARBARA - Afraid of being "outed" as a lesbian, Judge Diana R. Hall flew into a violent rage when her live-in girlfriend told a police dispatcher they were having a domestic dispute, a prosecutor said Tuesday at the start of a trial that could end Hall's judicial career.
