County OKs $1 Million Payout to Six Claiming Foster-Care Abuse

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved a $1 million settlement to six children who had accused their foster mother of extreme physical and psychological abuse facilitated by her controversial connections to the former head of the Department of Children and Family Services.
