City's Partners Law Is Upheld By 9th Circuit

SAN FRANCISCO - The last legal question over the validity of San Francisco's domestic partners benefits law was answered Tuesday when a federal appeals court upheld the ordinance requiring firms that bid for city contracts to offer employees' unmarried partners the same benefits provided to spouses.
