Far beyond the damages remedy against an overreaching firm, Gonzalez v. Spencer , 2003 DJDAR 8003 (9th Cir. July 18, 2003), provides the basis for prospective injunctive relief to staunch a long-standing, inequitable imbalance in police misconduct litigation.
