Juries to Get More Succinct Instructions Starting in Fall
SAN FRANCISCO - California juries deciding civil cases will soon be guided by a new, clearer set of jury instructions, the first revisions in 60 years. The state Judicial Council on Wednesday unanimously approved the new instructions, which become effective Sept. 1.
