Wendel Rosen volunteers for home improvement project
Managing partner Richard Waxman of Oakland law firm Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP paints a porch as part of the firm's participation in a two-Saturday improvement project for a low-income homeowner in the city. For the tenth year, Wendel Rosen has worked with the organization Rebuilding Together Oakland to improve the homes and lives of the growing population of needy homeowners in the East Bay. This year, a team of attorneys, staff and clients came together in April to make critical improvements to a local woman's home that also serves as a daycare. They painted the home's exterior and garage, rebuilt and painted the back deck, built planter boxes and a fence, and completed much needed yard work. Firm partner Matthew Graham also serves on Rebuilding Together Oakland's board of directors. — Jean Yung
