Howrey trustee can keep his position

Bankruptcy judge Dennis J. Montali indicated he's inclined to throw out a request by a group of unsecured creditors to disqualify Allan B. Diamond of Diamond McCarthy from the case.

The trustee of the bankrupt law firm Howrey LLP may have fended off an attempt to have him dismissed for conflict-of-interest reasons. On Wednesday, bankruptcy court judge Dennis J. Montali indicated he's inclined to throw out a request by a group of unsecured creditors who were attempting to disqualify Allan B. Diamond of Diamond McCarthy LLP from the case.
