Judge delays ruling on Raiderettes case

Judge Wynne Carvill says the result will depend on the outcome of a pending Supreme Court case

An Alameda County Superior Court judge tentatively ruled Tuesday that he will defer ruling on the fate of a proposed class action filed by cheerleaders against the Oakland Raiders until the state Supreme Court rules in a pending employment case.


The Oakland Raiders had filed a motion to compel the arbitration agreement signed by the cheerleaders.
