$21M settlement reached in workers' suit against Wal-Mart, distribution subcontractor

Scheider Logistics Inc. agrees to pay the sum to settle allegations of wage theft against it and Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

In what legal observers called a big win for employees, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and its largest import distribution subcontractor, Schneider Logistics Inc., have agreed to a $21 million settlement involving unpaid wages for hundreds of workers at a Riverside County Wal-Mart warehouse.


The agreement resolving the employees' suit could lay the foundation for similar workers' claims again...
