Skadden, Simpson advise in $4.3B Pinnacle Foods sale

The deal, announced Monday, would bring a number of notable Pinnacle brands under Hillshire's roof including Duncan Hines, Vlasic and Mrs. Butterworth's. Together, the companies expected annual net revenues of around $6.6 billion.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP represented Parsippany, N.J.-based packaged food producer and distributor Pinnacle Foods Inc. in its $4.3 billion sale to the Hillshire Brands Co.


The deal, announced Monday, would bring a number of notable Pinnacle brands under Hillshire's roof including Duncan Hines, Vlasic and Mrs. Butterworth's. Together, the companies expected annual net revenues of around $6.6 billion.
